Education Services

Beit Ekstein operates 19 special education schools that provide services to children and teenagers with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and mental health conditions. The schools operate nationwide with permit and supervision of the Ministry of Education, according to the Ministry's education program. Our schools place an emphasis on personal and social development, and operate according to the quality of life model.

The education services of Beit Ekstein are based on the concept stating that the student is an independent person, a person of values, who constitutes part of his own environment and contributes to it. We labor to educate the student to actualize and implement his cognitive, emotional, social and functional capabilities, with self-awareness and self-belief. These capabilities enable our students to constantly improve their quality of life, at the present time and in the future.

Students from 3rd to 12th grades, who were diagnosed with Learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Mental Health conditions underwent a Placement Committee and were referred by an Integration and Placement Committee of the Special Education Authorities, study at the Beit Ekstein schools.

The curriculum at our schools meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Special Education, and it also includes preparation and submission to the matriculation exams in several high schools.
Within the studies framework, a personal support program related to the educational, emotional and social fields, is formed for every student.

We summon experiences of success to our students, while basing the learning process on their strengths and fields of interest.

The personal, containing and warm attitude which characterizes our multi-professional staff, turns the studies in our schools into a special and unique educational experience.
